Abour project

Apex Digital is a New York-based digital marketing agency managing campaigns and digital platforms for a roster of high-traffic consumer brands. They came to Glyph Co. with a purely technical brief — their existing website was slow, outdated and failing to reflect the calibre of work they were producing for their clients. The project was scoped as a full custom web development engagement, covering architecture, build, CMS integration and performance optimisation from the ground up.

The challenge

Apex Digital's previous website was built on a bloated CMS that was producing poor Core Web Vitals scores and a frustrating editing experience for their internal team. The challenge was to rebuild the entire platform with a focus on raw performance — sub-second load times, perfect Lighthouse scores and a CMS setup that gave their non-technical team full control over content without ever touching code.

The approach

We architected the new Apex platform on Next.js with a headless CMS integration, giving the team a fast, flexible content layer that could scale with the business. The front end was built with performance as the primary constraint — every asset optimised, every component lazy loaded and every interaction measured against real-world performance benchmarks. The result was a website that achieved perfect Lighthouse scores across performance, accessibility, best practices and SEO on launch day.

The outcome

Apex Digital launched their new platform in March 2026 to immediate internal praise from their team, who cited the new CMS as transformative for their content workflow. The website achieved a 99 Lighthouse performance score on launch day and organic search traffic increased by 62% in the first 60 days following launch. Apex have since commissioned Glyph Co. for ongoing development retainer work — the strongest possible endorsement of a successful project.
