Motion Designer

Overview

We are looking for a Senior Motion Designer to join Glyph Co. and lead the motion and interaction side of our work. You will be responsible for designing and building motion systems, animated brand assets and interactive web experiences that bring our clients' brands to life. This is a role for someone who thinks deeply about the purpose of movement and has the technical skills to execute at the highest level — from subtle micro-interactions to full scroll-driven narrative experiences.

Responsibilities

Design and implement motion systems and animated brand assets for client projects. Build scroll-driven animations and interactive experiences in Framer using GSAP and Framer Motion. Develop motion guidelines as part of broader brand identity systems. Collaborate with the brand design and web development teams throughout projects. Stay ahead of emerging motion design trends and techniques and bring new ideas into the studio's work.

Requirements

5 or more years of experience in motion design with a strong portfolio demonstrating web-focused motion work. Deep proficiency in GSAP and Framer Motion. Experience building motion-forward websites in Framer or similar no-code platforms. Strong understanding of animation principles including easing, timing and physical motion. Excellent eye for detail and a genuine passion for craft.

Nice To Have

Experience with Three.js or WebGL. After Effects and Lottie workflow experience. Experience directing motion for video and social content. An interest in or background in brand identity design.
